American Solar Direct Winning Awards for Its Services

American Solar Direct is named a finalist in the 2014 American Business Awards. This comes on the heels of the company recently receiving the service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award.

Solar provider American Solar Direct (ASD) has been named a finalist in the 2014 American Business Awards as company of the year in the energy sector, and for being among the fastest-growing companies with fewer than 2,500 employees.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the United States are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, large and small.

“On behalf of the employees of American Solar Direct, we are very pleased to be named a finalist in two categories in this prestigious national business awards program,” said Brennan Mulcahy, Chief Executive Officer. “Our continued strong growth is the result of our dedicated employees who provide superior customer service and help make solar affordable and easy for homeowners. American Solar Direct is growing because we continually deliver the products and services that customers seek and need.”

American Solar Direct says it’s a popular choice for residential solar because it offers a complete set of services. Those include providing affordable lease options, having highly trained installers on staff, long-term maintenance and service agreements, and managing the permit process. A few years ago, the company expanded its operations throughout California, with offices from San Diego to the Bay Area. The company broke its internal record for number of installations in 2013.

American Solar Direct also recently earned the service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting a superior year of service provided to members of the consumer review service in 2013.

Finalists for the American Business Awards were chosen by more than 130 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 130 members of several specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, taking place May 13-22.
