“Deliver relevant, timely, and succinct information to busy solar professionals.”

PV Solar Report was founded to help people keep up with the fast moving solar industry. Everyday hundreds of solar articles are written, newsletters are sent, blogs are updated, press releases are issued, legislation is proposed, and industry dynamics change and most solar professionals find it challenging to stay on top of it all and perform at their highest levels. We wanted to create a simple and easy way for solar sales people, installers, operations folks, finance specialists, integrator owners, customers, and other interested parties to stay on top of everything happening without having to spend hours and hours a day searching and reading it, then wasting time by reading unimportant information. Many large firms have competitive research departments that monitor the solar landscape, keep track of relevant news, and update key people on important data or developments, but that can cost thousands of dollars a month. We wanted you to have that same type of information, and PV Solar Report was born.

Rosana Francescato, Managing Editor

Rosana’s articles on solar have been published on CleanTechnica, Solar Power World, The Energy Collective, Triple Pundit, and more. After getting a degree in English from Earlham College and starting her career in publishing at HarperCollins, she moved on to Macromedia and Adobe, where she managed complex user documentation projects. Now she’s able to use the skills she acquired in previous positions to help bring on the solar revolution.

Rosana is active in the solar and renewables world. She serves on the board of Everybody Solar and previously served terms on the board of Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, where she managed the blog, and the steering committee of the Local Clean Energy Alliance. She loves helping people go solar so much that she does volunteer work installing it for low-income families with GRID Alternatives — where she’s been the top individual fundraiser for their Bay Area Solarthon seven years in a row.

Brian Vieweger, Content Manager

After learning about the dangers of global warming in elementary school, Brian knew that he wanted to make a difference. That led him to get a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Human Geography, and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin — and eventually to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he served as the Western Region Outreach Lead for Cleantech Open.

Brian’s articles on solar and other renewables have been published on Solar Power World and The Energy Collective.
